PokerRoom is without question the market leader for no-download poker rooms. Macintosh and Linux users frequent this place because they do not have to install any software, other players keep coming back because the graphic is great and the games are soft. PokerRoom has experienced an enormous growth and is currently ranked the third largest online poker network in the world. There is no reason why this growth should not continue during 2006. PokerRoom is a great poker room and the only immediate downside is that the graphics seem blurry when playing multiple tables for long hours.

Features
PokerRoom.com has a lot of different features. It is possible to make player notes and view your own hand statistics. One really cool feature for impatient poker players is the ability to vote out other players. If one player is extremely slow, you and the other players can vote him out - he will then be removed from the table.

Poker Games Offered
PokerRoom has a good variety of games available. The primary game is Texas Holdem and both the limit and no-limit games are very popular. Most of the games are shorthanded (6-max tables). Omaha, five-card draw and seven-card stud is also available, even though these games are nowhere near as popular as Texas Holdem, they still draw enough players to keep action going.

Software and Graphics
PokerRoom has a download and a non-download version available. The download version has really extraordinary graphics, it is clean good looking and reliable. PokerRoom has focused on designing a really neat looking poker platform which has certainly succeeded. The only downside is the fact that the design can seem confusing when multi-tabling, especially when playing long hours - good multi-table software needs to be clean and stripped from bright colors and excessive features. PokerRoom is primarily designed to players who prefer to play one or two tables simultaneously, not multi-tabling online poker pros. The non-download version is a java applet, which means that the games can run on Mac, Linux and cell phones. The non-download version is also great if you are on a computer where you cannot install poker software (could be on your workplace). You can basically play poker from anywhere with an internet connection.

Player traffic
