Poker.com is a very serious attempt to launch a new and independent poker room. The domain itself almost guarantees success and the poker room has already taken off nicely. Poker.com is already a popular place for low no-limit ring games and with time they will surely build a much larger poker room. The software is nice but a few things need improvements and development is still going on.

Features
Poker.com has a lot of different features available, their software is under constant development and if you desire additional features write them an e-mail - they actually read them and implement some of the suggestions.

Poker Games Offered
Only Texas Holdem and Omaha can be played on Poker.com. Blackjack is available but currently only for play money - they may implement more games when more players start to frequent their site.

Software and Graphics
The software is unique to Poker.com and under constant development. The graphical design is nice; it offers something new to the online poker industry some will like it others not - with any graphical design it is a matter of subjective opinion. We think it looks fairly good and the functionality is excellent. Poker.com offers hand histories, win statistics, note taking and graphical tagging of opponents.

Player traffic
Poker.com was launched in the middle of 2005 and does not share player database with any other online poker rooms. Therefore Poker.com is still a fairly small poker room and most action can be found at the no-limit Texas Holdem tables. Most of the games are up to $2/$4 with the occasional $5/$10 game.

Soft Competition
As a new and small poker room the online professionals have yet to discover the new feeding ground. Many new players just type in poker.com in their browser and start to play at Poker.com. Needless to say new players often process no poker skills whatsoever and frequenting the Poker.com tables can be quite profitable.
