This 1990 WSOP winner was never very active in North American events and always preferred to play in Europe. His victory at the main event in 1990 is always remembered for the incredible hand in the final table where Mansour was expecting to lose. Towards the end, there were only two cards from a total of 44 remaining cards in the deck that could help Mansour win but they turned the game around and helped him win $895,000 and defeat Tuna Lund. He also managed to become the first European to win the highly prized bracelet and prize money. This Welsh born poker pro has had 13 other money finishes in the WSOP.
As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,900,000. Though he hardly ever plays in North America but in 2001 he did finish in the money in 8 North American events. Mansour was born in Wales, but now lives in London. He was extremely active and popular in the 90’s the time when won his maiden WSOP bracelet. His latest money finish was in 2006 when he came in 13th at the $ 4,800 Championship Event - No Limit Hold\'em event of the Asian Poker Tour, Singapore cashing in $ 14,570.
