I already owned and have read several of the so-called "best" Hold'em books out there when I purchased this book. I play online and win almost every session $10-$30 in an hour or two of $2/$4 Hold'em. I rate this book very highly because it cuts through all the headache-inducing poker odds theory to get to a quick and solid method of play: that is, seeing the flop with PREMIUM cards relative to your position, or otherwise folding. And correctly gauging the strength of your hand on the flop, turn and river and either folding or playing a strong hand aggressively. The author's method of play IS quick and easy. Follow it and I don't see how you could fail to win most sessions. With bad luck and poor cards you will stay close to even. With average cards you will slaughter the many terrible players out there. SKILL always wins longterm, and there is not much skill at the low-limit tables. (Yes, there is the odd error and typo: ignore them. The meat is PRIME RIB. This is the only book you need up to the $2/$4 level. Thank you Mr. Myers for plugging a leak in my game.)
